In the beginning, a bird got sucked into a jet engine.

Little did anyone expect (least of all, the bird) that this seemingly meaningless accident would become the catalyst for a domino sequence of events that would completely alter the lives of a couple of kids and their homicidal pet bunny.

The fate of their town now rests in their hands as they face a horde of mind-controlling alien tongues in a story full of murder, mayhem, government incompetence, other aliens, destruction, talking pies and, of course,

owning a homicidal bunny as a pet.

Book 2 – Road Trip

Lance and Alex tried their best to save their home, It didn’t go quite as planned.

Some might even use the term “Failed Spectacularly”.

Nevertheless, picking up a few weeks after the events of “Alien Tongues”, Alex and Lance reunite with Dante and embark on the road to adventure, only to quickly discover another plot is forming with Port Harbourcape in it’s crosshairs.

So now it’s up to them again to try to prevent another tragedy from striking their home, it still hasn’t recovered from the first.

One is enough.

Coming 2026 and will contain the final 3 Chapters in the Brainslug Story.

Starting with the prequel story – “The Origin of Dante” then continuing into the next part of the main story in “The Rise of Pie” and finally coming to its conclusion, back where everything started, in“The Empire of the Tongues”.
